Maia Novapalma, Italy

Maia Novapalma captures the spirit of Italian good living.

With wines which reflect elegance, with an enduring attention to quality, style and terroir, reflecting the basaltic and volcanic rolling hills of DOC Prosecco, and the alluvial soils of the DOC Delle Venezie, creating high quality organically certified wines from two or Italy’s most famous regions.

Viticulture

Nestled in the north-eastern corner of Italy, the Prosecco appellation reflects the regions rich history, with seemingly endless rows of Glera vines and picturesque villages. Protected by the Dolomites to the north, which create a favourable micro-climate for grape cultivation. Whilst the Veneto region, famous for Pinot Grigio production is situated between the Adriatic Sea and the Alps, with warm summers and mild winters making conditions perfect for grape cultivation. Diverse soils, with clay limestone and volcanic soils add to the wine’s complexity.

Winemaking

Modern winemaking facilities and an attention to detail create wines which are bright, fresh and incredibly commercial in the best sense of the word.
