The Wine Merchant Top 100 results have been announced, and we were thrilled to see how many of our wines were winners.
As the only competition dedicated to wines in the independent sector, and judged by independent retailers, it means a great deal that wines from across our portfolio, and varying price points received recognition. Over 60% of our entries were highlighted for their quality and relevance.
Amongst our successes, we received the Best Value Fortified Trophy for I Think Amontillado, collected by our Spanish wine buyer, Paul Shinnie, at this week’s awards presentation at the London Wine Fair.
Paul commented, “While I was happy to collect so many awards, this one is especially gratifying, having had a hand in producing the I Think Amontillado. My sincere thanks go to the judging panel."
