IWC Spain and Portuguese Specialist 2023

We wanted to share some very good news with you. Last week at the International Wine Challenge, we were very happy to be awarded Spanish and Portuguese Specialist of the Year 2023.

We are proud of this recognition from such a respected competition and in one of the most competitive categories on the night.

It is a not only great validation from our peers in the trade as to what we have achieved, and strive to do, in Spain & Portugal but also clearly demonstrates what we already know: that our Spanish & Portuguese portfolio is second to none!

Alliance’s love of Spain and Portugal is long-standing, stretching back many years and in more recent times Paul Shinnie, our buyer, has worked hard at building strong relationships with producers across Iberia creating a world-class portfolio that is exciting, eclectic and diverse.

This award represents the culmination of years of hard work and effort in sourcing, selling and promoting Spanish & Portuguese wine.

But it is not the end, it is only the beginning...

We are very proud of all the producers we represent and look forward to selling more of their wonderful wines from these countries for many years to come.
